Frozen

Now that Frozen 2 has landed in theaters and created a resurgence of Idina Menzel fans attempting to hit her notes on “Into the Unknown”, there’s never been a holiday season more deserving of a family outing to see Disney’s Frozen the Musical playing at the St. James Theatre. Journeying to the northern land of Arendelle where the story of Elsa and Anna all began, there’s a little bit of something for the entire family in this staged adaptation of the worldwide phenomenon. From breathtaking visual effects to wildly lifelike puppets and of course Elsa’s signature dress reveal, the magic of Frozen will work it’s way into even the coldest of hearts. And the themed cocktail menu is guaranteed to put a little “hygge” in the grumpiest of adults. Don’t let your chance go to get tickets!

Harry Connick, Jr.: A Celebration of Cole Porter

No holiday season is complete until the sounds of Harry Connick, Jr. are heard drifting through every storefront and living room, or better yet, experienced live at his latest Broadway show Harry Connick, Jr.: A Celebration of Cole Porter. Coming to the Nederlander Theatre this December, Connick will pay tribute to one of Broadway’s most iconic composers and contributors to the Great American Songbook, Cole Porter. Conceived and directed by Connick himself, this evening in the theatre will feature a modern, multimedia presentation of some of Porter’s most treasured songs including “You Do Something to Me,” “You’d Be So Nice to Come Home to,” and that toe-tapping showstopper, “Anything Goes.” And while you’re purchasing your tickets, make sure to pick up a copy of Connick’s latest record True Love: A Celebration of Cole Porter which is sure to make a great stocking stuffer!
